About The Role
To be a key member in our Austin laboratory supporting systems engineering and experimental board testing.
What You Will Do
- Provide prototype circuit board rework and testing support for new product engineering
- Assist engineering with test and measurement of prototypes and products
- Maintain clean and orderly workspaces in the laboratory environment
- Build experimental test setups for electrical, thermal, and EMI testing
- Maintain laboratory equipment asset list and calibration schedule
- Maintain stock of laboratory consumables
- Associate degree in engineering, or ET certification or equivalent
- Ability to read electrical schematics, BOMS, and rework instructions
- Surface mount soldering assembly and rework
- Wire cable and harness assembly
- Proficiency with common power electronics laboratory test equipment
- FW and SW programming of on-board digital devices
- Experience using Arena PLM application, Jira, and Confluence
- IPC-A-610 soldering certification
- High-volume product development support
- Familiarity with using Python
- Familiarity with using PuTTY or other CLI application
Salary : $29 - $42
