Join our Applications, Teardown and Design teams as an Engineering Technician, where you will be an integral part of our lab environment. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship from our experienced engineers while directly contributing to the assembly, testing, and debugging of cutting-edge electronic platforms.

This role is a blend of hands-on technical assembly, applications support, and lab operations:

Advanced Board Work: Perform surface-mount soldering related to the assembly, repair, and rework of printed circuit boards (PCBs) populated with surface mount components (including fine pitch components like CSP, BGA, QFN, 0402, 0201, 01005).

System Debug: Use electronic schematics and layout diagrams to assemble, debug, and fix problems at the board or system level under the mentorship of senior engineers.

Test Execution: Implement the proper execution of defined test experiments and run simple test sequences to verify board functionality.

Customization: Design and build various custom cable assemblies and perform mechanical modifications to hardware platforms.

Lab Operations: Implement and document lab procedures, ensure proper setup of test stations, and manage inventory efficiently.

3D Print and CAD Design: Implement Using CAD design software create 3D print fixtures in support of customer demos.

Troubleshooting Support: Help debug test setup issues (Hardware/Software) to ensure test sequences complete with minimal issues.
We are looking for candidates who possess the fundamental knowledge and discipline required to succeed in a demanding lab environment.

Education: Associate's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or a closely related field. (Relevant hands-on experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.)

Lab Equipment Basics: Experience and comfort working with standard lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.

Technical Literacy: Ability to read, understand, and interpret circuit board schematics.

Discipline & Organization: Strong organization, documentation, and communication skills for recording results and managing lab assets.
These skills are a strong plus, but they are not required to be hired. We will provide training and support for candidates who demonstrate a strong willingness to learn these skills.

Scripting Knowledge: Basic knowledge in a text-based programming language such as C, or a common scripting language such as Python, PERL, or Tcl.

Advanced Debugging: Hands-on lab test/debug experience gained during school projects or prior employment, particularly pre- and/or post-silicon validation.

Specialized Tools: Familiarity with schematics capture tools (such as PADS), CAD software, 3D printers, or other specialized lab equipment (e.g., logic analyzers, in-circuit emulators).
