What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake and Scheduling Coordinator position at Enliven Home Infusion Specialists Arizona?
Seeking a confident and experienced scheduler who will be responsible for coordinating home infusion visits with specialty pharmacies, patients, and nurses. Specialty Pharmacy experience preferred. This scheduler will be responsible for communicating with doctors' offices, pharmacy coordinators, nurses in the field, patients, and multiple company departments daily. The ideal candidate should be professional, compassionate, patient, and have the ability to manage multiple calls. The ideal candidate should also be able to prioritize the needs of the pharmacy, patients, and nurses. The scheduler will also assist the Intake and Scheduling manager with the following duties:
Intake of new patients into the scheduling/calendar program
Verify and update MD orders for all patients upon intake and every 3 months or as needed
On a daily basis, ensure that all patients are properly scheduled in the calendar and assigned to a nurse
Will respond to all company-related emails regarding patients, pharmacies, MD offices, etc, immediately, and on a daily basis
Will immediately communicate to the Intake and Scheduling Manager any issues regarding patients, pharmacies, nurses, or anything directly related to Enliven
Answer telephone calls and transfer to appropriate staff members
Will be expected to perform receptionist duties by greeting clients, guests, and patients
Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office and Google Suites
Perform general clerical duties including but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing
Sign for and distribute UPS/FedEx/Airborne packages
Attend and participate in company-related events, meetings, conferences, etc
Support staff in assigned project-based work
