Administrative Assistant / Dispatcher / Triage — Part-Time
Enlighten Technology · Honolulu, HI · On-site
About us
Enlighten Technology is a Honolulu-based managed IT services provider supporting businesses across Oahu — everything from day-to-day helpdesk support to network security and custom automation. We're a small, fast-moving team and we're looking for someone to help keep the business side running as smoothly as the tech side.
The role
We need an organized, reliable person to be the first line on incoming tickets — triaging what comes in, handling what you can, and routing everything else to the right tech fast — plus the administrative work that currently falls on our owners between client calls: invoice follow-up, purchasing, scheduling, and keeping the office running. This is a part-time, in-person role with real responsibility from day one (you'll be handling client accounts, ticket flow, and company purchasing, not just filing).
Schedule: ~25 hours/week, Monday–Friday mornings (8:00am–1:00pm HST)
Pay: $20/hour to start, with a review to $22/hour after 90 days
What you'll do
- Ticket triage & dispatch — first eyes on the inbox: confirm urgent tickets get claimed by a tech fast, clear routine requests yourself (password resets, account/access questions, licensing questions), and route everything technical to the right person
- Purchasing & receiving — process vendor orders, log receipts, confirm client purchase orders
- Scheduling — coordinate and confirm tech and client appointments, chase reschedules, follow up with vendors
- Payroll support — verify hours and submit timecards each pay period
- Office upkeep — keep the office stocked, tidy, and organized
- Errands — bank deposits, client pickups/drop-offs, notary runs, vendor coordinations, other duties as assigned
What we're looking for
- Reliable and organized — comfortable owning a queue and working independently after training
- Calm under a full inbox — can prioritize quickly and knows when to escalate vs. handle it
- Confident on the phone, including asking clients for money that's overdue
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (this role includes regular local errands)
- Comfortable handling client money and invoices with discretion
- Basic computer literacy (email, spreadsheets) — no IT background or degree required
Nice to have: prior dispatch, admin, office, or bookkeeping/collections experience; familiarity with QuickBooks, FreshBooks, or Google Workspace.
What we offer
- $20/hour to start, stepping to $22/hour after a successful 90-day review
- Flexible part-time morning schedule
- Health coverage per Hawaii's Prepaid Health Care Act eligibility
- Room to grow — this role has a clear path to full-time as responsibilities expand
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
Salary : $20 - $22
