We are a Breakfast and Lunch Bakery Cafe in Buellton seeking a line cook / prep cook with an amazing positive attitude, excellent communication skills, reliability, & consistency
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist in ingredient preparation to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Handle food with care, maintaining strict food safety and sanitation protocols
- Use knife skills and culinary techniques to produce quality dishes consistently
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas throughout shifts
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of orders
- Customer interaction and service
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Culinary experience with proficiency in cooking techniques and meal preparation
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with food industry equipment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude towards serving others
Shift Details
- Thursdays through Sundays - morning to mid-afternoon
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
