Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and modules to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop integration solutions using RESTful APIs, SOAP, and ETL processes.
- Ensure system performance through load balancing, system hardening, and continuous integration practices.
- Conduct debugging and troubleshooting of applications to resolve issues efficiently.
- Implement security measures including firewall configurations, VPN setups, and threat intelligence protocols.
- Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning and reviews.
- Maintain documentation for system architecture, design specifications, and operational procedures.
- Provide support for system administration tasks across various operating systems including Windows and Linux.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Must have 10 years of experience
- Proven experience in ServiceNow development with a focus on IT service management.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, Java, SQL, and Ruby on Rails.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and virtualization technologies like VMware or ESXi.
- Experience with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle.
- Understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Git.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, GPOs, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and system design principles.
- Experience in scripting languages (Bash/Unix shell) for automation tasks is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess vulnerabilities through vulnerability management techniques.
