Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise landscaping crews to complete projects efficiently while maintaining safety protocols and quality standards
- Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, pruning, planting, irrigation system installation and repairs, and general gardening activities
- Coordinate construction activities such as site preparation, grading, planting beds, and hardscape installation
- Manage tree care operations including pruning, removal, and health assessments to promote healthy growth
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment to maximize productivity and safety
- Supervise daily work schedules, assign tasks effectively, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines
- Provide guidance on horticultural best practices and ensure all work aligns with client specifications and environmental standards
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or related outdoor construction projects
- Strong supervising experience with the ability to lead teams confidently and motivate crew members
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques, irrigation systems, gardening practices, and horticulture principles
- Familiarity with tree care procedures including pruning and health assessments
