WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Superintendent - Landscape Maintenance Foreman to oversee all aspects of our landscape maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing landscape maintenance crews and delivering exceptional results for our clients. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of landscape maintenance crews
- Ensure that all work is completed on time and in accordance with client expectations
- Oversee the scheduling of crews and equipment to optimize efficiency and productivity
- Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques and safety procedures
- Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship
- Communicate regularly with clients to address any concerns or requests
- Monitor and manage inventory of materials and supplies
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, expenses, and client feedback
- Assist with the preparation of bids and proposals for new projects
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices for landscape maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscape maintenance
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, and landscape maintenance techniques
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in using landscaping tools and equipment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Horticulture or landscaping certification is a plus
