Job Summary
The Senior Architect I (RA) Team Lead is responsible for leading architectural design efforts while managing project teams. This role blends technical expertise with leadership, guiding projects through all phases of design and construction while ensuring alignment with client expectations, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the architectural design process, ensuring solutions meet client needs, budget constraints, and technical requirements.
- Provide technical oversight to project teams by reviewing and approving construction documents, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and quality.
- Coordinate with consultants to integrate building systems effectively into the overall design.
- Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong communication and ensuring expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and supervise junior architects and designers, supporting technical development and professional growth.
- Manage project schedules and budgets in collaboration with project managers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Conduct quality control reviews at key project milestones to maintain high standards across all deliverables.
- Lead construction administration activities, including site visits, submittal reviews, and responses to technical inquiries.
- Support business development efforts through proposals, presentations, and client engagement.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Oversee project closeout activities, including punch list completion and post-occupancy evaluations.

Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
