What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing detailed estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes across large commercial and mission critical projects
- Analyzing drawings, specifications, and subcontractor proposals to ensure accurate scoping and forecasting
- Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and preconstruction leadership to develop winning proposals
- Managing quantity takeoffs, cost breakdowns, and value-engineering opportunities
- Participating in design-assist and design-build efforts for technically complex projects
- Supporting bid strategy, schedules, and presentations during pursuit phases
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience as an Estimator within the MEP construction environment
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial or mission critical builds
- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, specifications, and equipment data
- Proficiency with estimating software and tools
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a high-performance team
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple active pursuits
