Essential Job Functions:
- Investigate and analyze residential, commercial, and industrial properties to resolve claims and legal matters.
- Conduct forensic assignments in civil engineering based on pre-defined scope and budget.
- Perform field investigations to determine causes of construction defects, structural failures, or building envelope issues; document conditions, gather evidence, conduct interviews, oversee testing, and review drawings, contracts, and historical records.
- Prepare clear written and oral reports detailing findings, repair scope, and recommendations; provide expert testimony as needed.
- Manage multiple projects, coordinating with other experts to deliver timely client reports.
- Ensure adherence to procedures, safety standards, and due diligence.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Required Experience, Education, and Certifications:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering (or higher); P.E. required.
- 2–10 years of experience; project management and field investigation preferred.
- Additional licenses/certifications may be required depending on location.
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
