About the Role

They are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join their team as an Inventory Control and Warehouse Operations Analyst. Responsibilities

• Control Inventory Movement: Manage inventory across multiple warehouse locations, ensuring efficient movement and allocation. Evaluate sales trends, slow-moving inventory, and upcoming inbound arrivals to optimize stock levels and meet demand.
• Monitor Inbound Shipments: Oversee inbound shipments, ensuring compliance with existing company procedures and standards. Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods.
• Cycle Count Program: Develop and maintain a cycle count program to ensure inventory accuracy. Make necessary adjustments to inventory records as required to maintain data integrity.
• Quality Assurance (QA) Guidance: Provide guidance and support on quality assurance issues across all departments, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to address and resolve quality-related concerns.
• Metrics and Reporting: Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) across all warehouse functions. Generate weekly reports highlighting areas of improvement and opportunities for increased efficiency.
• Expense Reporting and Cost Savings: Regularly report on department expenses and recommend cost-saving measures. Analyze labor costs, temporary labor expenses, overtime costs, packaging materials, and identify areas for cost optimization.
• Collaborative Solutions: Work closely with department managers to identify areas for improvement and develop sustainable solutions. Foster a collaborative and proactive approach to drive continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
• Procedures and Training: Develop standardized procedures for current tasks and create a comprehensive training manual. Oversee recruitment, hiring, and development of a trainer to onboard and train new hires across all functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in inventory control, logistics, or warehouse management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in relevant software applications, including warehouse management systems and data analysis tools.
• Business acumen and the ability to understand and interpret financial data.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven leadership abilities and a desire to grow into higher-level management roles.
• Results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
