BIM Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain 3D models for preconstruction and construction phases, with a focus on process piping systems.
• Review contract documents, identify issues, and collaborate with project management for solutions.
• Conduct clash detection, document issues, and track resolutions.
• Produce detailed drawings and ensure designs meet specifications, codes, and project requirements.
• Optimize piping layouts, coordinate hangers with other trades, and support field teams with technical questions.
• Attend coordination meetings, update project management tools, and oversee BIM execution.
• Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of BIM coordination or related experience, with strong process piping experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, regulations, and codes (e.g., plumbing, NFPA).
• Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and Trimble tools.
• Understanding of preconstruction-to-build workflows, including BIM coordination and prefab processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to cost and safety implications of designs.
