Assurance Associate

My client is seeking an Assurance Associate to support audits, reviews, and compilations for a diverse portfolio of privately held, entrepreneur-led businesses. In this role, you’ll work closely with business owners, contribute to engagements from initial planning through final delivery, and provide clear, reliable financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute audit, review, and compilation procedures in accordance with GAAP and relevant professional standards.
• Assist with planning and performing assurance engagements, including risk assessments, internal control evaluations, and substantive testing.
• Prepare financial statements, disclosures, and supporting documentation with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Collaborate with engagement leaders and client personnel to gather information, address questions, and provide insights on financial reporting matters.
• Perform analytical procedures and identify opportunities to enhance processes or add value to client engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
• 1–4 years of experience in public accounting
• CPA eligibility or progress toward certification
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and critical-thinking skills
• Motivated, accountable, and committed to high-quality work
