About The Opportunity
- Team of one (1) Surgeon and two (2) Physician Assistants.
- Operating Room time is allocated every Tuesday, as well as on the third and fifth Friday of each month.

- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Perform orthopedic surgical procedures within your subspecialty and scope of training.
- Conduct pre‑operative and post‑operative patient consultations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests such as X‑rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including surgical and non‑surgical options.
- Counsel patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, surgical expectations, and recovery timelines.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, physician assistants, nurses, radiologists, and primary care providers to coordinate patient care.
- Participate in On‑Call Coverage as assigned for orthopedic emergencies and trauma cases.
- Maintain accurate medical records and timely documentation in Epic to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and best‑practice development.
- MD (or DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program
- Fellowship training (optional but preferred depending on subspecialty)
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Active or eligible for New Jersey Medical License
- DEA & NJ CDS registration
- AHA or American Red Cross BLS & ACLS certification
- Strong surgical skills and clinical judgment
- Experience in a community‑based or hospital‑based orthopedic practice preferred
