Job Summary

Englewood Hospital is seeking an experienced **Endoscopy Technician** to support our physicians and nurses in delivering exceptional gastrointestinal care. The Endoscopy Technician assists the team in the scrub role during endoscopy procedures and assists in the preparation of the endoscopy suite area between cases. Sets up equipment for and assists physician and RN with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including, but not limited to, Upper Endoscopy, Colonoscopy and Ultrasound FNA and Pulmonary procedures such as robotic bronchoscopies. Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of equipment, instrumentation and supplies as well as scope reprocessing.

Job Essentials

• A minimum of two (2) years of related experience preferred
• Knowledge of endoscopy equipment, aseptic technique, and high-level disinfection methods required
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and rapport in all interactions
• Strong service excellence skills and must be a team player
  
  

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical School, SGNA GI Technical specialist course or equivalent experience preferred
  
  

Certifications

• CEFR (CBSPD) or CER (HSPA) certification required within 2 years of hire and maintained throughout employment.

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources. Compensation Range: $24.00 - $30.00/Hour
