Job Summary
Works with a multidisciplinary team of radiologists, pathologists, technologists and advanced practice providers during diagnostic procedures and cytology specimen collection and processing. Responsible for assisting with biopsy procedures, performing cytology specimen preparation, coordinating specimen processing for laboratory testing, and supporting pathology workflow to ensure accurate and timely evaluation. Supports rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) by ensuring with specimen adequacy. This role directly impacts diagnostic accuracy, molecular testing outcomes, specimen adequacy, pathology turnaround time, testing outcomes, reduces repeat biopsies and supports physician productivity.

- Computer Literate.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.

- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- 2 years of college OR Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from an AAMA (American Association of Medical Assistants) approved program of histologic techniques, or Associate's degree required.
