Now Hiring:(DON) Director of NursingResponsibilities (DON) Director of Nursing:
- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards of practice governing long-term care facilities.
- Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans for residents.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care provided, implementing measures to improve outcomes and resident satisfaction.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of nursing staff members.
- Manage nursing budgets and resources effectively, optimizing efficiency and productivity.
- Serve as a liaison between the nursing department and other departments within the facility.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
- Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and professional growth among nursing staff.
Qualifications (DON) Director of Nursing:- Experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a long-term care setting.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio.
