Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Fort Collins, CO, for an Automation Control Engineer. In this role, you will design and implement control systems, upgrade and optimize existing processes, and troubleshoot issues with electrical and automation systems. You will work closely with clients to understand their systems and needs, design custom solutions, commission equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role also includes providing hands-on support, conducting training for operators and maintenance staff, and creating detailed technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Process Control and Control Systems Design
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting and identifying and resolving system issues
- Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles and components
- Experience working with Robotics and automation technologies
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset
