We are seeking a Mid-Level Engineer to join our team in Portsmouth, Virginia, providing engineering and technical support for U.S. Navy aircraft carrier programs.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support in mechanical engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, and/or naval architecture as they relate to aircraft carrier Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E), aviation, and electronic shipboard systems.
- Apply knowledge of aircraft carrier maintenance philosophy, ship installation drawings, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles, and ship operations.
- Support the development, management, and refinement of non-nuclear Carrier Maintenance Plans (CMPs), Baseline Availability Work Packages (BAWPs), and modernization efforts for execution during CVN availabilities.
- Ensure technical requirements, periodicities, and associated configurations remain current for assigned CMP maintenance requirements.
- Collect, manage, and analyze maintenance, risk, and material-condition data to identify findings and support evaluation and corrective action.
- Assist in developing life-cycle strategies for aircraft carrier distributive systems and selected components.
- Develop, maintain, and report program metrics as required.
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of professional engineering experience.
- 10 years of professional experience preferred.
- Experience with data analytics, maintenance, and modernization related to aircraft carriers, naval ships, or large ship design, construction, or maintenance is highly desirable.

- Must possess an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET clearance.
