The Commercial Installer II requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience to complete routine and standard projects and assignments within the Installation family. Works under general supervision.
Requirements
- Completed and passed Year 2 of Apprenticeship
- Acquired general knowledge of reading Blueprints and Shop Sheets
- Can Measure, Cut and Assist in the install of a variety of duct including, but not limited to, Square, Spiral, Round, Take-offs, Dampers, Grilles, Flex etc.
- Can be given tasks by Lead Installer and perform them.
- Can unload and sort duct and other material received at the jobsite and get them to their proper areas.
- Report any installation issues to Lead Installer in a clear and effective manner.
- Can assist in the installation of the following equipment including, but not limited to, RTU’s and EF’s and associated curbs, Heat Pumps, Fan Coils, Split Systems.
- Work with team to produce installation product that meets the job Plans & Specs
- Keeps current on all EU Safety and other issued trainings
- All Requirements from Install Helper through Installer I
- Ability to work independently on Jobsite.
- Has been trained and certified in the operation of equipment needed on site
- Keeps current on all EU Safety and other issued trainings
- Minimum Experience: 2 years
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED
