About Us:
Engineered Plastic Components (EPC) is a world-class manufacturer of plastic products. We are seeking a proactive Shift Supervisor to lead plant operations, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Position Overview:
The Shift Supervisor will oversee daily operations during assigned shifts, monitor employee performance, enforce company policies, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the highest quality work to ensure continuous customer satisfaction.
- Lead, direct, and control productivity, safety, and quality through effective supervision.
- Supervise employees and equipment operation to prevent injuries and property damage.
- Participate in the development and enforcement of company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and track quality and productivity of all assigned operations.
- Act as emergency coordinator in the absence of the emergency response team and administer first aid when needed.
Job Duties:
- Process start-up tools and troubleshooting production/processing problems.
- Document employee attendance, tardiness, and communication with Human Resources.
- Maintain communication logs for shift transitions and report work-related incidents.
- Approve/disapprove employee time-off requests and document appropriately.
- Conduct performance evaluations for direct reports.
- Enter daily production reports into the DTR system.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manufacturing Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in supervising, managing, or coordinating plant operations.
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
