About Us:
We are a leading manufacturer of plastic products seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician / Electrical Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in maintaining plant operations, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all equipment functions safely and efficiently.
Position Overview:
The Maintenance Technician / Electrical Specialist will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues, and assist with general plant maintenance tasks. This position requires hands-on experience, technical knowledge, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in preventive maintenance (PM) of machines according to manufacturer recommendations.
· Perform and document service and maintenance work on all secondary (auxiliary) equipment.
· Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components as needed.
· Conduct general plant maintenance, including welding, drilling, and milling tasks.
· Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions and breakdowns.
· Inspect electrical systems regularly to prevent future issues.
· Replace electrical appliances, repair heavy equipment, and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings.
· Ensure all equipment functions properly and safely.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· 1–2 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a plastic injection molding environment.
· Basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting skills.
· Experience with welding, drilling, and milling is a plus.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
