POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Performs mechanical skills, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, electronic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Must have strong organizational skills to accurately complete and file required reports and documents, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with others.
- 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience; strong PLC, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical/electronic, and industrial skills required
- The ability to work independently and with minimal supervision, and the ability to take initiative, identifying potential problems and solutions.
- Must be detail-oriented and a self-starter
- All candidates must have strong communication skills
- This role requires a great deal of walking, standing, and using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, material handling and mobile equipment in performing duties.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30-hour certification is preferred.
