What are the responsibilities and job description for the Powder Coat Technician position at Engineered Metals & Composites?
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
· Properly applying powder coat to frames and welded assemblies
· Consistently cleaning and maintaining powder coat booth and equipment
· Consistently following start-up and shut-down procedures for Powder Coat area
· Maintain 5S of area
Qualifications include:
· Verifiable powder coating or painting experience
· Prefer automotive paint background
· Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record is required
· Sense of urgency and high attention to detail
· Ability to:
o multitask and be versatile in daily duties
o follow verbal and written directions
o work in a team setting
o work in a fast-paced environment
o stand, kneel, bend, squat, stoop, climb ladder, and stretch
o lift 20 - 50 lbs. consistently throughout the entirety of shift
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
