The Position
The Estimator will work in our Spring, TX office and support the evaluation of proposed projects by reviewing bid documents, determining scope, performing equipment counts, and organizing project data. This role works closely with management to support pricing, proposals, and the transition from bid to active project.
Job responsibilities include:
- Serve as point of contact for bidding opportunities and coordinate pursuit decisions
- Assist with Request for Proposals (RFPs), bid intent communications, and attend pre-bid meetings
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and client-provided materials
- Perform equipment counts and populate estimating and scope documents
- Assist with CRM data, bid documentation, and pricing templates
- Process and maintain Project Information Workbooks (PIWs)
- Monitor bid updates and assist with revised proposal requests
- Assist with transition of awarded bids to active project processes
- Collaborate with estimators across EAB branches to ensure consistency
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or HSE required
- Associate degree in an engineering-related field preferred
- Minimum two years of estimating, document control, or construction industry experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365
- Experience reviewing construction or mechanical drawings preferred

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Office-based role with frequent computer use. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Regular schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with occasional overtime and up to 10% travel.
Previous experience in Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM360, PlanGrid, Procore Software, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and a general understanding of construction plans, specs or submittals is a plus!
