Role Summary:
A Technical Support Engineer role is available, requiring expert troubleshooting, maintenance, and solutions for client IT environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and network issues using effective troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with the team to ensure customer satisfaction, delivering clear and concise instructions through phone calls, chat, or in-person interactions.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of identified issues and their corresponding solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Maintenance: Monitor system performance and ensure ongoing maintenance and optimization of network infrastructure.
- Research: Conduct research to develop additional knowledge and implement solutions for technical challenges.
- Training: Provide ongoing training to users to educate them on their technology.
- Support: Assist in implementing and deploying new technologies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience with Windows PCs, networking, and/or copier/printer management.
- Experience in customer service with sound judgment, discretion, and the initiative to drive organizational processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work within time constraints and deadlines, remain dependable, calm, and focused under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with standard troubleshooting best practices and the use of a Windows laptop and/or tablet to research information and repair copier/printer hardware and software.
- Mandatory proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- A proficient understanding of basic LAN/network connectivity.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to drive a manual shift company vehicle.
- Pre-Employment drug screening required.
