Position Overview
The IT Asset Management (ITAM) Practice Leader is responsible for guiding and optimizing the full lifecycle of technology assets to ensure operational efficiency, cost control, and risk mitigation. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic oversight with day-to-day execution. The position requires strong expertise in IT asset management practices and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of information technology assets, including acquisition, intake, deployment, maintenance, tracking, and retirement of hardware and software assets.
- Ensure asset records are complete, accurate, and up to date by establishing strong inventory controls and performing regular audits to validate data integrity and compliance.
- Partner with technology, security, and business stakeholders to promote effective asset utilization, lifecycle planning, and risk reduction, clearly articulating the value of asset management practices.
- Design, document, and maintain IT asset management policies, standards, and procedures, continually identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and overall user experience.
- Evaluate internal data and operational metrics to identify trends, potential risks, and areas for improvement, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Provide direct leadership and mentorship to IT Asset Management Analysts by assigning work, setting expectations, offering guidance, and delivering constructive performance feedback.
- Develop and deliver regular executive-level reporting, including dashboards and scorecards that highlight key performance indicators, risk indicators, asset lifecycle status, and end-of-life or end-of-support exposure.
- Collaborate with related service management functions to implement process improvements and ensure alignment across technology operations.
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
