What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operator Level 1 - Valve Body position at Engine & Transmission?
As an Operator 1 you play a big part of the team in providing labor, parts, service and goods to other team members and departments, which is key and very important in the remanufacturing process of transmissions. Your day will be spent performing a wide variety of warehouse tasks, along with specific tasks as assigned by manager or supervisor, being helpful, organized, maintaining safety and accuracy, and fulfilling requests to ensure daily demands are met and processes run smoothly within the department.

Essential Functions:
- Ability to properly take and read various gages and dimensions, able to follow oral and written instructions
- Computer efficiency
- Mechanical background, past machine shop and automotive parts experience preferred
- Must be 18 years old, high school diploma preferred, detail oriented, ability to bend, twist, pull & push
- Willingness and understanding you will get dirty at times, and may have to work with chemicals
- Skill of working with your hands, multiple types of tools, fixtures, gages and other instruments
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand & work on your feet for 8 hours a day and under pressure at times
- Have a Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, communication and decision-making skills
- Self-starting and motivation; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help others
Adhere to all safety rules, give it your all every day, must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
