Toolmaker | Day (M-F) or Night Shift (2-2-3 Schedule)

Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (M-F) or 6:30 AM - 6:20 PM (2-2-3 Rotating Schedule)

💵 Real Earnings Breakdown (This Is Important)

Because of the 2-2-3 rotating schedule, you automatically receive 8 hours of overtime on every paycheck.

At $40/hr, that equals:

• $4,576 in automatic overtime annually

• Over $100,000 per year without picking up any extra shifts

Night shift also includes a 10% shift premium paid on every hour worked.

This is built-in OT — part of the schedule — not optional overtime.

About the Role

Engauge is hiring an experienced Toolmaker to support a high-volume plastic injection molding operation in Mukwonago, WI.

This is a hands-on role working with:

• Complex injection molds

• Hot runner systems

• High-cavitation tooling

• Advanced tool room equipment

If you enjoy solving mechanical challenges and working on precision tooling, this is a high-level opportunity with strong earning potential.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Modify, repair, and troubleshoot complex molds

• Diagnose and repair hot runner systems

• Perform preventative maintenance and advanced machine setups

• Inspect mold functionality and ensure quality standards

• Support tooling improvements and performance upgrades

• Mentor toolroom personnel as needed

• Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes

What We’re Looking For

• 5 years of Toolmaker experience preferably plastic injection molding but not a deal breaker

• Strong hot runner and electrical troubleshooting experience

• Experience with high-cavitation molds

• Apprenticeship completion or equivalent hands-on background

• Welding, soldering, and brazing skills

Preferred:

• Journeyman Toolmaker card (top pay)

• Bi-injection or stack tooling experience

• NC programming or CAD knowledge
