A nationwide law firm is seeking a Trusts and Estates Associate or Of Counsel Attorney with 5 years of experience to join our Madison, NJ office.
Responsibilities:
- Research and draft memoranda on complex tax matters
- Develop and implement estate plans
- Advocate tax positions orally and in writing
- Maintain client relationships
- Work independently with minimal supervision
Qualifications:
- 5 years of estate planning and administration experience, including drafting sophisticated estate planning documents
- NJ Bar required; NY/FL Bar a plus
- JD required; LLM in Taxation preferred
- Preferred: experience preparing gift and estate tax returns, Federal/State trust taxation, corporate/partnership tax issues related to M&A
- Strong drafting, research, writing, and communication skills
