What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist position at Enerstaff?
CNC Machinist (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Spring, TX 77373
2nd Shift: 4pm-1am M-F regular schedule
Currently they are working 6/12 due to demand (4pm- 4am M-Sat)
Pay: $20-$24 with $1 shift differential
Job Description:
- Reads blueprint or job order for product and job specifications such as dimensions,
- tolerances, number of parts to be run, tooling instructions or other written
- specifications.
- Sets up machine, observes operation, and inspects first run and sample work pieces to ensure machining conforms to specifications.
- Determines processing specifications such as materials, location of cutting lines, dimensions, tolerances, and operational sequences.
- Examines finished work pieces and verifies conformance to quality standards
- Mark identification material before or after processing, store material for additional processing, and/or shipping
- Accurately completes work order paperwork/documentation
- Performs routine and preventative machine maintenance and inspections as
- required
- Assists other machine operators to set up machine, and stack, mark, pack, and transport finished work pieces.
- Ability to perform program editing (speed, feed tools, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with Fanuc 18i control, Okuma, OSP, and Mazak
- 1-2 years CNC experience
- Basic math skills
- Must pass background and drug screen
- Must have steel toes, metatarsal guards, and safety glasses
Pay: $20-$24/ hour
