Position Overview
We’re seeking a Solar Sales Manager to lead residential solar sales efforts in California. This entrepreneurial opportunity is ideal for someone with solar experience, a passion for clean energy, and a strong drive to build and lead a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who is ready to take ownership of their territory and potentially grow a sales organization under the ESP umbrella.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and close residential solar sales through a mix of in-person outreach, referrals, online strategies, and community engagement.
- Educate homeowners on the benefits of solar energy and how ESP’s turnkey solutions meet their energy needs.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to signed contract.
- Represent ESP professionally by maintaining deep knowledge of solar products, installation processes, and financial incentives.
- Develop and mentor future sales reps as your team scales.
- Attend meetings, training, and work with internal departments to ensure smooth project fulfillment.
- Must have reliable transportation and internet access.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate evening and weekend appointments with homeowners.
Qualifications:

Compensation and Benefits:
