What You'll Lead

• Natural gas pipeline and station design projects.
• Energy infrastructure improvements.
• Multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Client relationships and project coordination.
• Project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality management.
• Technical design reviews and engineering oversight.

What You'll Do

• Drive the execution of projects that may include gas and oil pipelines and associated regulation station design-construction, pipeline routing, development of P&ID’s, site layout design, grading, construction support and erosion control measures selection and placement.
• Preparing proposals, schedules, and cost estimate for energy projects.
• Arranging and completing the technical design concept of the project based upon instructions from Sr. Engineers.
• Preparing project design. Assigns detailed tasks while providing technical oversight and assistance to project team members.
• Reviewing design drawings for accuracy and ensure quality control (QC) standards have been met.
• Participating in client management activities as well as supports proposals and marketing activities.
• Communicate to appropriate personnel on the status of the project.
• Initiating permitting through appropriate Federal, State and Local agencies while staying attuned to any additional permitting needs for the proposed activities.
• Preparing bid documents containing technical specifications, design drawings, and contractual terms and conditions.
• Managing project task schedules.
• Mentoring lower-level team members.
• Performing additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who We're Looking For

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution
• Experience with federal, state, and local permitting
• Engineer in Training Certificate
• PE (Preferred but not required)
• 5 years of energy, facility/industrial process piping, or oil/gas pipeline related experience
• 3 years’ experience with AutoCAD
• Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Microsoft Projects or equivalent project scheduling software
• Experience with Bluebeam
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven work environment while assisting/leading the design team
