ASME Code Welder (SMAW/GTAW) – 2nd ShiftTulsa, OK | Monday-Thursday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Some welders burn rod or pull a trigger.
Others build equipment that powers refineries, chemical plants, power stations, and critical infrastructure across North America.
We're looking for the second type.
For over 50 years, Energy Exchanger Company has engineered and manufactured custom ASME code shell-and-tube heat exchangers. We build difficult equipment, work with challenging materials, and solve problems many shops won't touch.

- Can pass federal drug test as this is a safety-sensitive position
We're not looking for someone who simply meets minimum requirements.
We're looking for a professional craftsman.
Requirements
- 3 years of pressure vessel, heat exchanger, pipe, or heavy industrial welding experience
- Strong SMAW and GTAW skills
- Ability to pass a 6G weld test and radiographic examination
- Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, and alloy materials
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding procedures
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Available to work 2nd Shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
Preferred
- Shell and tube heat exchanger experience or other ASME pressure vessels
- Carbon arc gouging experience
- SAW experience is a plus
- Strong track record of producing welds with minimal repairs
