About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and motivated HR Generalist to join our growing team. This role is a perfect opportunity for a professional with 0–5 years of experience to take on a combination of administrative and strategic responsibilities. You will serve as a primary point of contact for employees, assisting with the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to benefits administration and compliance.
We are looking for someone to lead our recruitment and staffing efforts. As ECT grows we are finding a need for intense hiring of employees, ensuring compliance with all employment/labor laws. This includes planning the hiring process, deciding on the methods for placing job ads and monitoring the entire process, including writing job descriptions, screening candidates, onboarding, and employee benefits management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Staffing: Lead recruitment efforts by writing job descriptions, placing
ads, screening candidates, and managing the onboarding process.
- HR Advisory: Act as an advisor to employees on company policies, performance expectations, and handbooks.
- Compliance: Ensure all practices align with federal, state, and local employment/labor
laws, including FMLA and Wage and Hour laws.
- Benefits Administration: Support employees with benefit inquiries, process
enrollments, and coordinate open enrollment meetings.
- Administrative Support: Maintain HR records, monitor time and attendance, and assist
with payroll-related issues.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current on HR rules, regulations, and industry trends by
attending workshops and meetings.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent
experience).
- Experience: 0–5 years of experience in an HR or administrative assistant role.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail.
- Work Authorization: Must be able to work legally in the United States.
