Summary of Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site inspections of residential buildings to assess energy efficiency and ensure compliance.
- Conduct diagnostic tests, including blower door tests and duct leakage tests, to evaluate building performance.
- Maneuver through multiple apps & databases to provide detailed documentation on inspection findings.
- Communicate inspection results and recommend energy-saving measures to contractors.
- Stay updated on energy codes, standards, and best practices in energy efficiency.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain BPI certification.
- Ensure all documentation and reporting meet regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of energy efficiency programs and initiatives.
- Any other responsibilities as assigned to uphold Energuy's core values and vision.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Practical experience performing home energy assessments, diagnostic testing, or retrofit project support is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in residential construction, HVAC, weatherization, energy efficiency, or related fields.
Licenses & Certifications:
- BPI Building Analyst and/or BPI Envelope Professional certification (required).
- Driver's license with good driving record 5 years of licensed driving experience (required)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm & 11:00 am-7:00 pm (overtime weekends as needed)
