Position Summary
The Accounting Manager will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, the monthly close process, and the development of scalable accounting and treasury processes as the organization continues to expand. Key Responsibilities
Financial Close & Reporting
- Support and manage components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Review journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with complex accounting areas such as debt, acquisitions, derivatives, and cost allocations
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Assist in preparation of consolidated financial statements
Audit & Compliance
- Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors during interim and year-end audits
- Support financial reporting requirements and related documentation
- Assist with tax compliance and associated reporting obligations
Treasury Management
- Support the development and implementation of treasury processes and controls
- Assist with cash management, bank account administration, and short-term forecasting
Systems & Process Improvement
- Support implementation and optimization of ERP systems and accounting tools
- Identify and implement improvements to accounting workflows, controls, and documentation
- Help build scalable processes to support continued organizational growth
Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with outsourced accounting support and internal stakeholders
- Assist in training and mentoring junior accounting staff
- Partner cross-functionally with finance, project development, and operations teams
Candidate Profile
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of accounting experience in public accounting, industry, or a combination
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience with ERP systems
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred
- CPA designation or active progress toward certification
- Experience in project-based or capital-intensive industries is a plus
