Position Summary:
Promote and sell the companys products and services
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers and potential customers about products and services offered by the company
- Prepare quotes for product and/or services
- Promote awareness of our products and services within the community
- Attend Industry programs such as trade shows, manufacturer training, etc. as assigned
- Customer service with current and potential customers
- Work with required departments to communicate the progress of a current or potential customer
- Work closely with the project managers and installers to ensure installation and product meets expectations
- Maintain all professional licensing (if applicable)
- Travel as needed
- Research any new products in the industry
- Meet/Exceed established sales goals
- Develop sales leads through personal efforts
- Follow up on company provided leads
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Special Licenses and/or Certificates:
Obtain: Security License upon hire; Fire Alarm License within 1 year of hire
Education and/or Experience:
College Degree or previous sales experience preferred
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office skills; Sales and/or estimating programs and Customer Management Software a plus
