We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a
strong background in Application Development and Infrastructure projects. The
ideal candidate will hold a PMP certification, have hands-on experience with
both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and demonstrate the ability to lead
cross-functional teams to deliver complex technology initiatives on time and
within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects involving
application development and infrastructure components.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and
budgets; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
- Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project
scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies;
implement mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate communication between technical
teams, business units, and executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards,
policies, and best practices.
- Prepare and present project status reports to
stakeholders and senior management.
Required Skills
- Project Management Expertise: Proven experience
managing complex IT projects involving both Application Development and
Infrastructure.
- PMP Certification: Active Project Management
Professional (PMP) certification required.
- Methodology Proficiency: Hands-on experience
with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Technical Understanding: Solid knowledge of
SDLC, application architecture, and infrastructure technologies (servers,
networks, cloud environments).
- Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to
communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and
executive leadership.
- Risk & Issue Management: Skilled in
identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues.
- Tools & Platforms: Familiarity with project
management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar.
- Budget & Timeline Control: Demonstrated
success in managing project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Leadership & Team Collaboration: Ability to
lead cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative environment.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong
aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving technical and process-related
challenges.
- SAP Project experience not required, but would
be very desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud migration projects (AWS,
Azure, or GCP).
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD
pipelines.
- ITIL certification or familiarity with IT
service management frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science,
Information Technology, or related field.
- Desired, but not required (Exposure to SAP
projects)
