Private Housekeeper for Manhattan Family

Job Type: Per Diem

Shift and Schedule: Mon-Fri 8 am to 6 pm

Pay: $30-40 an hour depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive daily, deep, and seasonal cleaning of the residence, with special care for fine materials and surfaces
• Work collaboratively with other staff
• Assist with laundry and the ironing of clothes and linens
• Manage and organize a large closet, and make minor repairs (replacing buttons, etc.) and spot cleaning expensive clothing
• Run occasional household errands as needed
• Call outside vendors for repairs as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience as a Housekeeper
• Excellent, verifiable references
• Outstanding hands-on cleaning skills with a strong eye for detail
• Anticipates needs while maintaining a professional and discreet presence
• Strong English communication skills. Tagalog a plus
• Service heart
• Enjoys working with a team
• Prior experience as a Caregiver/CNA is also a plus
• Ability to manage and organize a large closet, and make minor repairs (replacing buttons, etc.) and spot cleaning expensive clothing
