Endurance Group is currently seeking a mid-level Administrative Assistant for an exciting, yet challenging opportunity. The successful candidate will provide support to a DoD client’s Awards Branch with the Awards and Decorations Program. In this position, the candidate shall advise and assist in all areas of the JSOC Awards and Decorations Program; ensuring all award recommendations and packages meet Service and DoD requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Review, process and prepare submitted awards, decorations, and certificates for presentation.
- Administer and facilitate all assigned functions of the Awards and Decorations Program and implement guidance, policies and procedures pertaining to Service, Defense and Civilian awards.
- Provide feedback to directors, commanders and other leaders/managers.
- Record, track, report, and recommend solutions to issues experienced while processing internal and external awards.
- Provide awards and decorations support in accordance with JSOC, DoD, and Service military and civilian awards regulations, policies and procedures.
- Develop and provide awards and decorations training to newly assigned Awards POCs and provide customer service support to all unit Awards POCs as required.
- Maintain inventory of all required supply and award items necessary to keep the Awards Branch functioning. Items include award certificates, medal sets, accouterments, devices, badges, award presentation folders, award folders, and associated items.
- Provide a monthly inventory of these items and reorder items described above, as requested by the Government.
- Provide routine administrative support actions, including data entry, tracking, updating, and reporting.
- Perform records management function by organizing, creating, deleting, retrieving and replacing electronic and hardcopy files.
Education:
- Associates Degree or higher with 6 years Administrative Assistant work experience
Clearance:
- Have a current TS/SCI clearance.
Experience:
- At least 6 years Administrative Assistant work experience; supporting Special Operations a plus
- Must be experienced in Microsoft Office, with a special emphasis on Excel and Access.
- Ability to brief/interact with senior leadership
- Attention to Detail (Data Entry and the requirements of correct and accurate data tracking, adhere to established work processes)
- Articulate Writing and Speaking ability
Desired Skill Set:
- US ARMY or SOCOM administrative experience; supporting Awards and Decorations Program activities a plus
- Knowledge and understanding of Special Operations
- Able to learn on the job and open dynamic situations
