What are the responsibilities and job description for the FTZ Admin & Trade Compliance Specialist position at Endries?
What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day FTZ operations, transactions, and compliance activities
- Prepare and submit CBP filings including daily transactions, applications, and annual reports
- Interpret FTZ regulations, CBP guidance, and zone procedures
- Maintain and reconcile ICRS and ensure accurate FTZ recordkeeping
- Serve as the primary contact with CBP officers, Zone Operators, and FTZ Users
- Support audits, validations, and compliance reviews
- Assist with trade compliance activities including tariff management, HTS classification, FTAs, duty drawback, and post-entry reconciliations
- Manage Customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure alignment with FTZ and compliance requirements
- Monitor regulatory changes and communicate impacts to the business
- Develop SOPs and provide FTZ and trade compliance training as needed
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of experience in FTZ administration, trade compliance, customs brokerage, or import/export operations
- Working knowledge of CBP regulations, FTZ requirements, and U.S. trade compliance laws
- Experience with FTZ inventory systems and ERP platforms
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High attention to detail with an audit-ready mindset
- Ability to pass CBP background checks
