Job Description
We are a small, physician-led concierge pediatric endocrinology practice seeking a calm, reliable Part-Time Office Host to support our weekly Wednesday in-clinic day.
This is not a traditional front desk or administrative role. The position is highly structured and checklist-based, focused on patient greeting, clinic flow, and maintaining a calm, professional environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys predictable hours, clear expectations, and a low-stress workday.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and families warmly and professionally
- Guide patients through the clinic check-in process (training provided)
- Manage patient flow and room readiness
- Support injection days (room set-up and coordination)
- Collect payments and provide receipts
- Offer water and maintain an organized clinic space
- Assist with product handoff when needed
- Follow written scripts and checklists exactly
- Collecting insurance cards and processing payments as needed
This Role Does NOT Include
- Answering medical or clinical questions
- Managing scheduling
- Handling prior authorizations
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Comfortable following structured processes and scripts
- Strong communication and hospitality skills
- Ability to remain calm in a medical setting
- Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or customer service preferred
- Pre-health students, retired healthcare staff, or parents returning to work are welcome
Schedule & Compensation
- Wednesdays only
- 4–5 hour shift
- $22/hour
- Paid training and paid trial period
- Role may expand in the future based on clinic needs, but no guarantee of additional hours
