What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Endless Mountains Health Systems?
EMHS is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join our Facility Services team. EMHS is looking for individuals who enjoy fixing things, solving problems, and making sure everything is running the way it should! This position is an oppurutinty to be an important part of a team that helps keep our facility safe, comfortable, and running smoothly for our patients, visitors and staff.
- Full Time (40 hours/ week), 0700-1500. Every other weekend and holiday, rotating on-call.
- Full Time (40 hours/week), 0900-1700. Every other weekend and holiday, rotating on-call.
- Full Time (40 hours/ week), 1500-2300. Every other weekend and holiday, rotating on-call.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to read and comprehend material, write and follow written and oral instructions.
- General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work.
- Must be able to assume on-call responsibilities.
- Must possess a valid Drivers License.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs maintenance procedures as directed by the Plant Manager.
- Makes required repairs, modifications, and alterations to facility equipment.
- Assist the Plant Manager in preventative maintenance programs and maintain records as assigned.
- Complete all priority work orders in a timely manner.
- Performs grounds maintenance activities such as mowing lawns, raking, trimming hedges, snow removal, cleaning of debris, etc.
- Acts as a secondary courier to perform trips to the blood bank, pick up/delivery of equipment, supplies, building materials, mail, and other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
