Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Nurse's Aides to join our healthcare team. As a Nurse's Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in our Medical Surgical Unit. Your support will be essential in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients across different age groups and medical conditions.
Current Openings:
- Full Time (40 hours/week) 0700 - 1530, Med/Surg. Rotating weekends and holidays.
- Full Time (40 hours/week) 1500 - 2330, Med/Surg. Rotating weekends and holidays.
- Full Time (40 hours/week) 1500 - 2330, Emergency Dept. Rotating weekends and holidays.
- Full Time (36 hours/week) 1900 - 0700, Emergency Dept. Rotating weekends and holidays.
- Full time (40 hours/ week) 2300 - 0730 / 1900 - 0700, Emergency Dept. Rotating weekends and holidays.
Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients to enhance their overall well-being.
- Assist nursing staff with medical procedures and treatments as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas.
- Help transport patients to different departments within the facility as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Nurse's Aide is an advantage.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is desirable; familiarity with hospital medicine is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
