The Role
We are looking for a high-ownership Clinical Lab Operations Manager to lead day-to-day execution. You will be the engine that ensures samples move efficiently from receipt to results while maintaining full audit readiness. This is a role for a builder who wants to keep a lab operationally reliable at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Execution: Ensure all samples hit a strict 48–72 hour turnaround time.
- Logistics: Manage kit inventory, reagents, and consumables; prevent stockouts.
- Traceability: Track all lab activity with complete sample-to-result data integrity.
- Compliance: Maintain continuous readiness for CLIA/CAP audits and inspections.
- Ownership: Lead documentation for QC, calibration, and maintenance; coordinate instrument PMs and technician training.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years in clinical lab operations or management.
- Direct experience in regulated environments (CLIA, CAP, or similar).
- A "no-excuses" operational mindset; highly organized and comfortable with fast-paced ownership.
