Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new enterprise software opportunities, with a focus on EAM, AIP, CMMS, or related solutions
  • Leverage existing relationships and contacts within the utility space to expand the company’s customer base and accelerate sales cycles
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation, ensuring timely and effective deal closure
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline using a disciplined, data-driven approach to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Conduct compelling software demonstrations and lead client presentations in both Enterprise and mid-market accounts
  • Apply advanced sales methodologies such as Challenger, MEDDIC, or other consultative approaches to drive complex SaaS sales
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide feedback on product, pricing, and sales processes, contributing to continuous improvement
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM and sales enablement tools, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization
  • Continuously learn about the product, market, and customers to provide informed, value-driven solutions
  • Maintain a customer-centric mindset by understanding client needs, addressing challenges, and delivering tailored solutions
  • Exhibit a hunter mentality and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving sales environment by adapting quickly to change


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in enterprise software sales, ideally in EAM, AIP, CMMS, or related solutions
  • Strong understanding of complex SaaS sales processes and full-cycle sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a pipeline, meet/exceed revenue targets, and deliver measurable results
  • Excellent prospecting and “hunter” mentality, with experience generating new business
  • Experience engaging and presenting to mid-market and C-level executives
  • Proficient with CRM and sales enablement tools, with disciplined data management
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to tailor solutions to client needs
  • Ability to thrive in an evolving, fast-paced, early-stage or growth-oriented sales environment
  • Demonstrates resilience by handling setbacks constructively and consistently pursuing goals
  • Receptive to feedback and applies it effectively to enhance performance
  • Seeks to learn and deepen knowledge of the product, market, and customer needs
  • Driven by achieving goals, embracing competition, and pursuing personal growth
  • Skilled at cultivating strong relationships by establishing trust and rapport with prospects and clients
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or technology


Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing contacts or book of business in the utility sector
  • Experience working for competitors in relevant software domains
  • Knowledge of advanced sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger, MEDDIC, or similar)
  • Proven track record of contributing to sales process improvement and feedback loops
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data and adjust strategies accordingly
