Position Summary

The Enterprise Networking Solutions Architect (SA) is a key pre-sales technical expert responsible for designing and positioning enterprise network solutions in collaboration with account managers. This role focuses on enterprise switching, wireless, and routing technologies and requires deep technical knowledge across vendor platforms including Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Arista, and Fortinet. The SA leads technical discovery, architecture development, and solution justification efforts that align customer business needs with advanced networking solutions and services.

Responsibilities:

· Partner with Account Managers to understand client requirements and recommend high-impact wired and wireless network solutions.

· Conduct technical discovery sessions and evaluate existing customer infrastructure to identify gaps, opportunities, and modernization strategies.

· Design enterprise network architectures including core/edge switching, campus and data center fabrics, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, and network segmentation.

· Develop pre-sales deliverables such as High-Level Designs (HLDs), Bill of Materials (BOMs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and executive presentations.

· Deliver solution demos, product briefings, and whiteboarding sessions to articulate solution value and design rationale.

· Maintain strong relationships with technical decision-makers at client sites, as well as vendor engineering and product teams.

· Track industry trends and vendor advancements to provide strategic guidance internally and externally.

· Support post-sale transition by collaborating with implementation teams to ensure alignment between proposed and delivered solutions.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree and/or military experience

· 5 years of experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role, preferably within a VAR.

· 2 years of experience developing proposals and statements of work.

· Expertise in enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN technologies, including Layer 2/3 routing and switching, wireless controller architectures, and network access control

· Familiarity with solutions and platforms from:

o Cisco (Catalyst, Nexus, Meraki, DNAC, SDA, SD-WAN)

o Aruba (CX Switching, Mobility Controllers, ClearPass)

o Juniper (EX/QFX switches, Mist AI)

o Arista (CloudVision, EOS)

o Fortinet (FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer integrations)

· Design, planning, and deployment of solutions for large enterprise customers

· Proven success and experience selling technology solutions and services to enterprise or global customers.

· Problem solving, diagnostic and analytical skills required.

· Exceptional customer-facing skills.

· Able to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Certifications:

· CCNP Enterprise / CCIE

· Aruba Certified Network Professional (ACNP)

· Juniper Networks Certified Specialist (JNCIS-ENT)

· Arista Cloud Engineer (ACE)

· Fortinet NSE 4 or higher

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on computer.

· Occasional walking between facilities.

· Occasional lifting, pushing, pulling up to 15 lbs.

· Hybrid Position – 50% travel
