What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Software Test Engineer position at Encore Talent Solutions?
*6-month contract to hire. Hybrid*
The Senior Software Test Engineer will support Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure platform by developing automated tests with Python and Pytest, improving test frameworks, and performing full-stack integration, REST API, performance, stress, and scalability testing within CI/CD pipelines. The role collaborates with development and technical teams to identify defects, assess risks, and drive resolution in an Agile environment.
Required: 8 years of test automation experience, including 6 years with Python/Pytest; Azure or AWS experience; Linux and Windows knowledge; CI/CD experience; and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Preferred: Dynatrace, GitHub Actions, Postman, Kafka testing, and knowledge of AI in testing.
